Wallpusher JUST got invited to show guitars, basses and other products at the 375th Anniversary for the town of Ipswich.
Sunday August 9 at 2pm, Wallpusher will be downtown with the re-enactment parade of Ipswichites to show their innovations in instruments, guitar straps, bags, jewelry, sculpture and more.
Please feel free to join us at the Ipswich Celebration, we’re looking forward to seeing you there!
We had a great time at Soulfest 2009. Thanks to all the amazing people that made the festival possible, and invited us to me there. We were so pleased to experience the creativity of many artists, and loved sharing our basses and guitars with people at the festival and we’re looking forward to seeing many of you again at the upcoming music nights hosted by Wallpusher.
Wallpusher has been in the news, the radio, online…and is now coming to a music festival near you for summertime music playing and creating.
Look for Wallpusher at the summer festivals in your area, including Soulfest in Gilford, New Hampshire July 28-31, the Eco-Festival in Ipswich, and others. We’ll be giving out free tips for DIYers on making your instrument help you play better, straps that keep you comfy on stage or off, with easily adjustable heights for soloing, and the dependability of leather and metal.
Wallpusher also hosts music nights for people to try out our guitars, share music, and just enjoy creating together in a free and safe space.
We’d love to see you at some of our events, please check out our calendar at http://www.wallpusher.com/ click on the “events” tab, and please email us if you have any questions at info@wallpusher.com. Thanks and enjoy!
An audio slideshow narrated by Matthew Rogers, owner and designer of Wallpusher Guitars.
Wallpusher was so glad to have the opportunity to integrate music, dialogue and pictures into this audio slideshow of Wallpusher guitars featured in the Cape Ann Beacon.
WALLPUSHER INTERVIEW: Matthew Rogers and Jacky Ankeles
Wallpusher is dedicated to freeing guitars from their conventions. Listen to Matthew’s description of his journey as a musician, an artist, a woodworker, and a luthier, leading to his creation of Wallpusher.
Long awaited…the wallpusher blog. What is wallpusher?
Wallpusher is an independent business focusing on the intersection of the aesthetic and functional, with the purpose to make things that should exist; things that are not only beautiful, but also things that are asking good questions and trying to make new solutions. That whole process is design, is architecture, is art — they’re all integrated. The design and production that happens at Wallpusher is about breaking preconceived notions, and offering new ways of thinking in tangible products that honor the intersection of the aesthetic and the practical in products that can provide that which we’re all thinking of when we go to find that one special solution.
Local Artist Matthew Rogers and owner of Wallpusher holds The Diploma of Fine Arts from the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston, and 15 years of experience creating art professionally. While Rogers has 15 years experience building custom furniture, bookbinding and gilding, he specializes in guitar design and fabrication. Original handmade electric bass guitars and guitars. Great quality sound, prototype neck with better reverberation, custom hand grips for easier playing, higher quality and aesthetic pleasure than anything you can find in stores. Wallpusher is located in Ipswich, MA. Please call 978 500 0495 with questions, or to make an appointment to visit the shop. Wallpusher was recently featured in the Cape Ann Beacon and the radio show North Shore Now 104.9. This blog could be a great place for dialogue about music, art, or any big questions at all. To be continued…
